A May 2024 Angi customer alleged that Militao Services took their money without doing the job. Other customers described completed flooring, painting and basement work, alongside complaints about unfinished projects and correction requests that went unanswered. BBB identifies the business as a Worcester home-improvement and painting contractor. In March 2023, a HomeAdvisor customer praised Lucas for installing flooring promptly, keeping them informed and cleaning up. A February 2023 customer described his attention to painting and wall preparation and said the staff were prompt and orderly. An April 2021 Angi customer praised flooring and baseboard work, communication and completion when promised. In February 2021, one customer said Lucas and his crew finished a basement in less than four days; another described bathroom painting and stair work. A January 2021 customer described a master bedroom and heated bathroom floor, with options offered at different costs. The complaints span several years. A November 2022 HomeAdvisor customer said the job was unfinished and no receipt was provided. An August 2022 Angi reviewer criticized Lucas’s finished work and said he was rude when asked to finish properly. In September 2021, one customer said the contractor quit after poor work, leaving paid work to be undone and repaired by another contractor. Another September customer described seven conversations in which visits were promised but nobody arrived. A March 2021 reviewer reported improperly installed flooring edges and repeated correction requests that were not addressed. A February 2021 customer said the contractor failed to attend as agreed, did not apply the promised paint coats and did not respond to requests to correct the work. An undated BBB reviewer also complained about poor work and failure to finish after advance payment. Angi shows 4.4 stars from 33 ratings, and HomeAdvisor shows 4.6 from seven. BBB gives Militao Services a C+ grade, lists one complaint and says it is not accredited. Experience descriptions differ: HomeAdvisor states six years, while Angi states more than 13 years and separately features a 19-year highlight.
