Milo's Landscaping runs out of Portland Street in Lynn and works the North Shore — its own project galleries are labelled Marblehead and Salem. Milo himself is the business: nearly every review names him personally, and the work described runs well past mowing. The range is the interesting part. In a July 2024 review a customer described him clearing 39 stumps, felling a 50-foot dead tree and hauling everything away in a single day. Another, writing in June 2024, said he designed and planted their front and side yards, built raised-bed structures to keep rabbits out and rebuilt a stone garden wall — and singled out his knowledge of roses. A third, from June 2024, had him take down a storm-killed cedar fence and build its replacement in a day. Angi and HomeAdvisor both show 5.0 from 18 reviews, though those two pages are the same 18 accounts mirrored, not two independent sets. The Google record tells a different story, and it is the more recent one. Only two people have rated the business there, and both were unhappy: a June 2025 reviewer wrote just five words — that Milo kept hitting on her, and that it was not professional. In May 2026 another customer described repeatedly agreed prices changing after the fact, said the original figure was honoured each time they pushed back but that it made for unnecessary back-and-forth, and reported a lawn that did not look mowed afterwards despite being told it had been. Two reviews is a thin sample and neither has a public response, but a harassment allegation is not a matter of taste, and a pricing-consistency complaint is the kind of thing that shows up on invoices. Get the price in writing before work starts and keep the agreement handy. He is a plausible call for North Shore yard work with real scope — cleanups, tree and stump removal, planting, stone walls, sod, paving, fencing — priced competitively and often done same week. Spanish is spoken. Confirm the quote in writing, and know that the glowing directory record and the Google record point in opposite directions.

I initially had a positive experience with this company, but over time there were repeated issues with pricing changing after agreements had already been made. Each time I referenced the original agreed-upon price, it was eventually honored, but it created unnecessary back-and-forth. Most recently, I hired the company for lawn service, and afterward the lawn did not appear to be mowed or completed as expected. Although I later received confirmation that the lawn had been mowed, the condition of the yard afterward did not reflect that work to me. I also had concerns regarding the professionalism of the crew during the visit. Based on my experience, I would recommend customers keep pricing and scope-of-work details documented in writing before service begins. I may add photos related to the service at a later date.
