Mice and wasps are among the household problems Modern Pest Services customers described in 2025. In a December Google review, a longtime customer said Michael Rivera responded urgently after mice appeared in the kitchen, shored up cracks and gaps, and explained the treatment. The customer also described a follow-up at which the issue appeared to be in the washroom, and praised his patience with their anxiety. Modern Pest Services offers residential pest control, with its website naming rodent control and exclusion, stinging-insect treatment, and services for mosquitoes, ticks, bed bugs, carpenter ants and termites. The company lists Springfield as a service area and offers free estimates. A February 2020 article from mypmp.net reported that Modern Pest Services, an Anticimex company, had purchased Premier Pest Control of South Hadley. A July 2025 reviewer said Andrew found two hives, removed them without incident, including work on the roof, and sprayed the area. The customer praised both his thoroughness and communication. Separately, an Amherst Nextdoor commenter writing in May 2025 said Modern Pest had taken care of their wasp problem. Google shows a 4.7-star average from 266 ratings. An April 2024 customer praised on-time arrivals and detailed reports after visits to their father's property. They said the treatment had kept the wooded property pest-free and recommended Joseph Tolman. An October 2024 reviewer raised a specific concern about a more recent visit: they received no advance notice and could not direct Zachery to trouble spots, including stink bugs indoors. They explicitly said their earlier positive comments did not apply to that visit. Those earlier comments had praised prompt responses to requests for extra mouse checks and treatment.
