Its BBB profile puts the business start at 1988 and incorporation in 2005, with Ms. Monica Moura as president. Rhode Island's business portal names the same person as president of the company's registration there.
The scale is what to understand first. On its claimed Procore profile the company counts 34 projects since July 2022, 11 of them active, at an average project size north of $31 million, and lists 10 to 50 employees working across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. That profile also carries a "Women's Business (WBE)" business classification — the company's own listing, not a verified certification. Houzz quotes a typical job cost of $20,000 to $5 million, a range whose floor is a kitchen's worth of counters and whose ceiling is an apartment building.
The homeowner-facing history is thin and dated. Google shows 4.2 stars across six ratings, and the three written comments on file all predate 2020: a 2019 five-star review called them easy to work with and knowledgeable about interior finishes, a 2018 five-star review pointed to flooring and granite counters, and a 2019 one-star review said only "unprofessional," with nothing else. Its BBB page is an A+, though the company is not accredited there and no complaints are published.
One more piece of context, and it cuts in their favor rather than against: a 2023 Rhode Island Supreme Court opinion cites an earlier Superior Court decision, Moura Interior Finishes of Massachusetts, Inc. v. Tocci Building Corporation, in which the trial justice held that a "pay when" clause should be void against public policy. That was a payment fight with a general contractor, not a customer complaint.

For a single-room floor or a countertop swap, call first to ask where a job that size sits in their schedule, and ask for recent references — nothing in the public written record is newer than 2019.
