A recent customer came to Chimney Ninja after a bad experience with another company. Nick looked at the earlier work and explained that the pipe, the chimney cap and a few other parts were rated for a gas furnace. He took notes, called back with a price a few days later, and fixed everything, explaining what he was doing and why. That customer called the price very reasonable and said it now feels safe to light the stove. Mr. Chimney, Inc. Chimney Ninja describes itself on its website as a chimney sweeping business in Rhode Island since 2017, and lists a service area of Providence, Washington, Newport, Kent and Bristol counties. A 2026 customer said Nick converted their gas insert fireplace to a wood-burning fireplace, took the time to explain the work, and that the job site was left clean. Another job was a pellet stove: a 2026 customer said they had one installed after previously having a wood stove, and called Nick fair priced. A 2026 customer on their first pellet stove installation said Nick walked them through the process and offered ideas for their ongoing project. In a September 2025 r/rhodeisland comment, a poster who feared a large issue said the company found only a cracked chimney cap, replaced it and cleaned the chimney, and that it was still good years later. Its Better Business Bureau grade is A+, and Google shows 4.6 stars from 58 ratings.
“Chimney Ninja is fantastic. Reliable, thorough, and honest. We thought we had a large issue and they advised that it was just the chimney cap that was cracked. They replaced it and cleaned the chimney and 4 years later it’s still good.”
“Chimney ninja is good too but that guys always busy.”
“For chimney work I have used the Chimney Ninja and the dude has done fantastic work.”
“Chimney Ninja! Nick is great.”
I contacted Nick of Chimney Ninja because I had a very bad experience with another company. I was referred to chimney ninja by Hearthside fireplace. Nick came by and took a look at the previous work I had done. Needless to say he was not too happy with the work. He explained to me that all the pipe, the chimney cap and a few other parts were gas furnace rated. The items were even labeled as rated for gas furnace. Needless to say I asked if he could make it right. Nick took a few notes and said he would give me a call with a price. He did so in a few days and I booked an appointment. Nick fixed everything, he explained everything he was doing and why. He answered all my questions. Chimney Ninja went above and beyond my expectations. The price was very reasonable too! I now feel it's safe to light up my stove. Thanks Nick/Chimney Ninja.
I had a great experience with Nick from start to finish. He converted my gas insert fireplace to a wood‑burning fireplace and the results were great. The workmanship was excellent, the fireplace looks fantastic, and everything was completed with care and attention to detail. He was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the process, taking the time to explain the work and answer questions. The job site was left clean, and the entire experience was smooth and stress‑free. I am extremely happy with the outcome and would highly recommend his services to anyone considering chimney or fireplace work.

Nick was absolutely great to work with. He was extremely patient and took the time to walk me through the process as this was my first pellet stove installation. I had gotten a few different quotes but once I met Nick, I immediately felt comfortable and confident with chimney ninja. He was very thorough and knowledgeable, answering all my questions. He even offered some ideas/suggestions for our ongoing project. Honestly, I can’t say enough great things about my overall experience with him. He really went above and beyond and I would highly recommend him to anyone!
