Google shows 5★ from 165 ratings, and the name many customers mention is Marcos, who gives the estimates and sends the crews. In a July 2026 review, a homeowner handed Marcos the color chips for a new "forever home" and left it to him while preparing to move; the crew repaired casing and baseboard before painting and left the house clean for the flooring installers. MS Painting says it is a family-owned residential and commercial painting company based in Milford, founded in 2003 by Marco Sousa, and it lists a service area running from Boston and Newton out to Framingham, Natick and Northborough. The state registry shows its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration as active. The work customers describe is often whole-house painting, inside and out. In a March 2024 review, a homeowner had the crew resurface popcorn ceilings, replace damaged drywall, paint every interior surface and repaint the outside including shutters and doors. A July 2024 reviewer said the crew covered the plants during the power wash and painting and replaced rotted trim. A January 2023 customer had all three floors of a 125-year-old house painted, with many cracks repaired along the way. Speed comes up often: in a May 2025 review, Marcos called back the same Easter Sunday, and the job was finished in four days; another May 2025 reviewer said a crew of three finished in two days after Marcos offered an earlier start. Customers also bring them in for repairs — a ceiling patched, skimmed and painted in March 2025, water damage on a ceiling in August 2025, and in May 2025, a job another company had botched. In August 2023, a 2★ reviewer said the trim and stair railing were never finished, paint got on the grass and trees, fence hardware was painted after they asked it not to be, and the company stopped responding. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 5.0★ from 28 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+.
Bought my last “forever home”, and wanted to not only freshen it up, but truly make it mine. I gave Marcos my color chips, discussed the project thoroughly, then left it in his hands while I prepared to move. Great communication, and work was completed on schedule. His crew repaired casing and baseboard before painting, and left everything perfectly clean for my flooring people. Highly recommend!!
Marcos came quickly to give us an estimate and was able to have his painters come to paint our bedroom within the week. We actually had to delay for a few days so we could move some things out. He’s done multiple jobs with us and the work is excellent. They textured walls to blend into other textured areas and it was perfection. I would highly recommend their company. He responds to calls and text immediately.
First class operation in every way: fast and complete communication, great suggestions, knowledgeable, friendly. The finished product is top notch. Highly recommend.
Great company to work with. They completed the job on time and were extremely professional.
Marcos and his team did a great job with repainting my rental property!! When the tenant moved out, after only 5 years, she patched the holes in the walls poorly and the house was looking run down. After the paint job, the place looks brand new. I was tempted to move in! Marcos is very personable and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this company.
