Munroe Roofing & Construction

Munroe Roofing & Construction is Nick Munroe's Plymouth-based crew, holding an active Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration verified against the state registry. Roofing is the core of the business, but the reviews span cedar shingle siding, gutters, skylights, chimney flashing, and even full home additions. What customers keep coming back to is how fast Nick shows up when something goes wrong. One 2025 review said he responded to a Sunday text about animal damage to a roof within 15 minutes and talked the homeowner through securing it before rain hit. After a 2022 windstorm knocked two trees onto one customer's roof, other companies were booking weeks out — Nick pulled into the driveway right away. A 2021 review described calling around after a storm blew shingles off, getting ignored or turned away elsewhere, until Munroe picked up and had someone assess the damage from photos that same day. The pricing gets specific praise too: a 2024 review said the final bill matched the original quote exactly, with nothing added on, calling that "extremely rare" among contractors. Several reviews describe getting multiple competing bids and choosing Munroe specifically because the price was fair and the process transparent from the first phone call. The range of finished work is real, not just talk: two separate 2022 reviews describe a full home addition and another large, complicated project, both finished to the customers' surprise at the quality; another 2022 review described a full two-story roof replacement finished on time and on budget with extra crew brought in to keep pace; and 2023 reviews describe a new roof paired with an end-of-house re-shingling and a new deck, and cedar shingle siding installed on the side of a house that takes the most weather. Across three dozen reviews from 2021 through 2025, none raise a complaint of any kind. For a roof replacement, storm-damage repair, or a larger addition or siding project in the Plymouth area, this is a licensed, verified contractor that customers describe showing up fast and pricing fairly; the only real homework left is getting your specific project's scope and timeline in writing, the way any bigger job deserves.
