NETR (now Sila/Goldman Sachs) heat pump installation on triple-decker. ~$107k, quoted 2 months, took 8 months. - Design Error: Original electrical design violated Somerville setback code. Required complete redesign, ~7 week Eversource resubmission delay, neighbor coordination. I had to personally intervene with Eversource management. - Failed Inspections: Electrical failed multiple times. NETR pressured for payment before inspections citing "substantial completion." - Settlement: After 8 months I requested compensation. NETR offered $1,000, blamed delays on "my preference" not their design error. When I provided documentation proving otherwise, they withdrew offer to send foreman, gave 24-hour ultimatum to accept $1,500 or face "legal escalation." We settled to avoid further hassle. Outcome: Heat pumps work now. But design error, failed inspections, gaslighting, and 4x timeline make this impossible to recommend. On $100k affecting three households, expected better.

Had maintenance done for heat pump & mini splits. Rafael Guzman is was professional and knowledgeable . He explained everything he was doing clearly and gave pointers to maintain system. Would definitely recommend N.E.T.R / Sila

Before installing a mini-split, the sales person told me that I'd need to cut down an interior shelf to a specific height. I paid a handyman $400 to do exactly what the sales person instructed. Later on, N.E.T.R. came and did the installation; however, AFTER the installation, a technician told me that they hadn't accounted for the vent opening and closing and that the shelf would need to be further cut down. As you can imagine, this type of service is rather ridiculous. If they knew that the shelf would need further cutting, they should have NOT installed the unit. I have called N.E.T.R. six (6) times in three weeks, and no one has called me back about this issue. After paying for the unit and for a handyman, it's ridiculous that I have AC that is compromised because no one with the company thought to properly measure the space so that the work by the handyman could be done once. At this point, I'd like for N.E.T.R. to take care of this for me.

It went very well. Provided a quote quickly. Work then done perfectly.

From start to finish, NETR did a fantastic job. I met 3-4 other vendors, and they didn't come close to NETR's responsiveness, professionalism, or timeliness. NETR earned my business before I even got a quote from some of the others. The salesman, Mark, arrived on time, was respectful & attentive to what we needed, explained our options well, and provided a competitive quote before he left my home. NETR also offered a 5-year 0% interest loan for the project (via a relationship with GreenSky). It took only a few days to schedule installation. The installers were prompt, professional, respectful of our property, and did an excellent job installing the electrical components, compressor, branch box, and 5 heads. They did a nice job of consolidating and hiding the lines on the outside of the house. This past year, we've worked with many contractors, some good, some terrible, so I can compare. NETR was one of the best, and I would hire them for my next project in a heartbeat.
