Nauset Disposal customers praise individual drivers for small things that matter on collection day: bringing forgotten trash down a driveway, leaving emptied totes upright, and picking up loose trash around a dumpster. The company is based in South Yarmouth and describes itself as a Cape Cod and South Shore waste hauler. It advertises residential and commercial trash and recycling collection, roll-off dumpsters for job sites, and portable restroom rentals for work sites and events. Its stated service area includes Provincetown, Duxbury, Falmouth, Yarmouth and Plymouth. Google shows a 4.1-star average from 573 ratings. Several recent customers describe their drivers by name. One July 2026 reviewer calls Gwen timely and efficient at their residence and says Mike McKenna is friendly and accommodating at their campground. Another says Gwen and Troy leave the totes upright after emptying them. An April customer says a driver came up the driveway to collect trash they had forgotten to put out. In June, a customer watching Kenny Duff empty a dumpster says he also picked up trash around it. Roll-off service has drawn specific praise too. Writing in July 2026 about a kitchen renovation a few years earlier, one customer says the driver placed the container in the requested spot despite limited parking, explained its use, and left the yard looking the same after removal a week later. Cancellation, billing and barrel removal have prompted recent complaints. A May 2026 reviewer says they cancelled after a large price increase, were promised a $289 refund and next-day barrel pickup, and still had neither after two and a half weeks and two follow-up calls. In July, another customer preparing to sell a house describes two scheduled barrel-removal dates that passed without collection, requiring repeated drives of more than an hour. An August reviewer says billing continued three months after cancellation; another August customer reports unanswered calls and barrels left behind after cancellation. Older customers raised similar billing concerns. In a November 2023 review, one customer described incorrect bills, missed pickups and an unannounced $26 monthly fuel charge. A July 2024 Cape Cod Reddit commenter also reported a fuel tax on top of the service fee. In a February 2024 review, a different customer described Josh checking on their household after two forgotten pickups and making extra collection runs before the holidays.
