NC Bratko Construction LLC is a concrete and site-work contractor based in Hillsboro, NH, run by owner Nathan Bratko, who the company says has more than two decades of experience in the trade. The business pours concrete foundations, slabs, and flat work, and handles excavation, site grading, drainage, and septic system installation across a wide stretch of central and southern New Hampshire, from the Concord and Hillsborough area down toward Nashua and the Massachusetts border. Since 2018, homeowners have hired Bratko for garage and home foundations, barn and shed floors, driveways, and full site packages that combine excavation, grading, drainage, and septic work in a single job. Reviewers on Google, Thumbtack, and the company's own site repeatedly credit the same two people — Nate and office manager Trisha — for itemized quotes, prompt communication, and concrete work that comes out plumb, square, and smooth; a 2025 review describes a building inspector who was satisfied enough with the prep work that he never bothered getting out of his truck. A June 2026 review describes a more complex job: excavating and pouring a new foundation and slab beneath part of an existing home while it was suspended above the work area on structural supports. Not every account is positive. A December 2025 review reports a final bill that came in double the original estimate on a 24x18 garage foundation, tied to two added drainage lines the reviewer says never worked properly. A 2022 review describes a septic system replacement where the crew installed the system quickly, then left it uncovered and unfinished on the property for over a month before rushing to complete it once pressed. And a 2021 review, unrelated to any actual project, describes a hostile and profane response to an unsolicited phone inquiry. These three accounts sit against dozens of detailed, positive reviews spanning eight years, but they're worth reading directly and asking about before booking — particularly getting a written, itemized estimate and a clear timeline before any drainage or add-on work begins. For concrete foundations, slabs, septic installation, or a combined site-work package, Bratko has a long and largely consistent record with homeowners in the Hillsborough/Concord/Nashua area of New Hampshire. Get the scope and price in writing, and ask directly about the handful of negative accounts if the size or complexity of the job resembles theirs.
We were extremely impressed with Nathan and the entire Bratko team. Nathan has a genuine positive, can-do attitude, and his team is exceptional. We recognize how fortunate we were to find Bratko after an extensive search and screening process. Working with limited access, structural supports, and a well-head pipe, the team successfully excavated and poured a new foundation and slab beneath part of our home while it was suspended above the work area. There are not enough rating stars to adequately represent how happy we are, from the first meeting to the final cleanup. We wholeheartedly give Bratko our highest recommendation and would not hesitate to hire them again.
Very professional company! Nate and Trish were a pleasure to work with! They completed all the site work for new house including stump removal , dug foundation hole, complete septic system installation, site grading , new gravel driveway grading and other “site” work related tasks necessary for a new home start to finish. All work was completed in a professional and timely manner! In addition Nate’s team installed a professional concrete foundation and concrete floor also ! If you want professional work that’s reasonably priced call Bratko
The boys at Bratko did a great job putting a floor in my barn. On time, efficient work, friendly, reliable. I would highly recommend Bratko for your next project.
We had NC Bratco pour the foundation for our garage a few years back. They did a great job. They were there when they said they would be and were very professional. The foundation was perfect and the garage floor looked like a skating rink. I would recommend them to anyone looking for concrete work.
It is always a pleasure working with NC Bratko Construction. Their estimates are detailed and easy to understand, and their team is incredibly thorough with every aspect of the work. Communication throughout the entire project is excellent, which makes the process smooth and stress-free. Trisha is wonderful to work with. She is very responsive and provides clear, consistent communication from start to finish. Nate is also amazing to work with and does phenomenal work. He works extremely hard and always takes the time to answer any questions and explain the project in detail. Together, they truly are a power couple, each bringing expertise, professionalism, and dedication that shows in every project they take on. We are nothing but pleased with their professionalism, attention to detail, and overall quality of work. I highly recommend NC Bratko Construction.
