Heat pumps lead the pitch on New Energy Solutions' own website: the company says it installs and maintains them and specializes in high-performance systems built for Maine weather. It also says it has been in business 17 years, offers 24/7 emergency service, and names Cumberland and Standish as its service area. A recent customer said Chris walked them through converting to natural gas and then installing a new furnace and hot water heater, along with converting their dryer and stove from propane to natural gas. A recent customer said the company was knowledgeable about the type of furnace they needed and praised its installers. A 2025 customer said everyone was professional and easy to work with, and that the costs were in line with other quotes they had received. In a 2026 review, a writer who said they had worked alongside the company in the trades recommended Chris Cote and called it a technically sound HVAC company.
