That customer's calls afterward went straight to voicemail. A 2026 customer said the man shook the dryer and got the heat working again, then said the wall socket needed to be replaced. A 2024 customer said they had a scheduled 3 hour window and the company never showed and never called. A 2024 customer said a refrigerator repair needed a part ordered, and that three weeks later the owner told them they just had to wait after they had already paid for the part.
My service request was through my Home Depot extended warranty administered by Allstate/SquareTrade, so I expected the process to be professional and well coordinated. I had a 9:00 AM appointment scheduled with New England Appliance Repair to diagnose my washing machine. I took time off from work based on that appointment. On Monday, I was told the technician would arrive around 9:00 AM. Instead, I received a text at 7:46 AM on the morning of my appointment canceling the visit because parts were supposedly needed. The problem is that no technician had ever inspected or diagnosed my washer, so I don’t understand how anyone could determine what parts were required beforehand. I called multiple times after receiving the cancellation text, but my calls went straight to voicemail and I never received a response. As someone who works in the service industry, I understand schedules can change, but communication and professionalism are essential. A phone call the day before or even an explanation would have saved me from taking an unnecessary day off from work. Because this was a Home Depot/Allstate/SquareTrade warranty claim, I expected a much better customer experience. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and the last-minute cancellation made this a very disappointing experience.
For the price of a house call the man shook the dryer and got the heat working again. But then proceeded to tell me it was the wall socket that needed to be replaced. The dryer had electricity, it had no heat. This was a complete waste of my time and money. And we still have loose wires inside the dryer because he never opened it up. No effort was made to fix the problem.
I made an appointment with Frigidaire to get my freezer repaired and they gave me the phone number to contact this repair company. I called 4 times and left a voice mail, but never got a response. I also confirmed with the Frigidaire rep the arrival window for the repairman. Never showed up, never called, never answered.
A few years ago I used this company to repair my refrigerator. It was during the worst of Covid in the summer. We don't have air conditioning. They showed up unmasked and were annoyed when I requested they wear masks. They had to order a part. Three weeks later I called and the nasty owner told me that we weren't prepared for the repair men last time so now we just had to wait. I already paid for the part. This man was so vile that I would never refer anyone to this company. I was going to let it go but to this day it annoys me. Rest assured someone in his office will sweetly reply to this with excuses and blame. Thats what they do. If you don't believe me read the rest of the reviews!
If I could I would give NO STARS for this no show company. Don't take off work and wait for these people. I had a scheduled appointment with them for a 3 hour window and they never showed and never called. I had to find out through the manufacturer that they cancelled at the last minute. Completely unreliable company. Now I'm completely confused by your response. Do you NOT know how to perform manufacturers warranty repairs on Fridgidaire appliances? Is that what you are saying? Here is what I was told after you didn't show. That you accepted the service call last week and that you cancelled sometime today (the day of the service call) and you neglected to call me and let me know. I was explicitly told that you were responsible for contacting me if there was a cancellation.
