Warren is the name that keeps turning up in New England Energy and Gas's reviews — the one who comes out, quotes the job, and is often on site for the foam. In a 2016 review, a homeowner described him sealing a basement cantilever where the kitchen and dishwasher pipes had frozen in extremely cold temperatures in years past; another from that year wrote that Warren and his crew of four were true to their word. The company works out of a P.O. Box in Concord, New Hampshire and sells energy work more than construction: home and commercial energy audits, spray foam and blown-in insulation, LED lighting, cooler doors and commercial utility rebate programs. Its Angi profile claims 21 years of experience. The written accounts run from 2016 to 2021, and the ones that go into detail describe insulation done fast and left clean. A 2016 customer had a cellar upgrade finished in one day with many follow-ups afterward. A 2017 reviewer said the crew came out within five days and did the spray foam job. In a 2020 review, a homeowner valued the survey that came first — a walk of the existing insulation with options laid out from blown-in up to closed cell foam. Another 2016 reviewer noted the home and yard were left neat when the job was done. On Angi the headline is 4.5 stars from 43 ratings, 86 percent of them five-star. Nine percent of those 43 ratings are one star, and the written complaints are specific enough to take seriously. In a November 2016 review, a homeowner said he assured them the job was complete, their son went under the house and found only half of it done, and after they told their credit-card company he returned and finished it on the second try. A December 2017 reviewer wrote of being forced to take the company to court after BBB attempts to rectify unresolved issues. Two more, from 2016 and 2017, are short and blunt: "Not a good experience. Not recommended" and "Don't hire him. He's a nightmare." Angi's own page header also carries a "This pro is under review" banner. For spray foam or blown-in insulation in a New Hampshire cellar, attic or cantilever, and for a homeowner who wants the existing insulation surveyed before anyone quotes, this is a fair company to call. Get the scope and what counts as finished in writing, inspect the completed work yourself before the last payment, and ask Angi — and Warren — what the under-review banner is about.
