One name turns up in these reviews more often than the company's own: Chase, the technician who seems to do most of the crack injections, lally column swaps and repointing. The written history runs to 168 reviews since 2021, and the jobs people describe are consistently narrow and surgical — a basement wall drilled and injected in about an hour, a rusting garage column cut out with a new footing poured on a second visit, a fieldstone wall remortared, three timber posts swapped for steel. The office end is what customers keep singling out. Homeowners writing this spring and summer say a person answers the phone rather than an answering machine, quotes come back the same day from photos they send, and the company pulls the permits and lines up the town inspector itself — one customer took their bid over a cheaper one precisely because the competitor wouldn't haul away the old timber or deal with the city. In a January 2026 review, a homeowner who found a leak on a Sunday had a reply within a couple of hours and a quote the same day. Will comes out for the estimates; Chase and Tony do the work, and the pattern of named people repeating across years is unusual in a review file this size. The friction is scheduling, not workmanship. A homeowner writing in September 2025 said the appointment took two weeks to get and was then cancelled by text twenty minutes before the slot, the sharpest complaint anywhere in the file. A four-star review in April 2026 describes a repair that stalled when a pump broke mid-job — the company sent a second technician the next day and took no money until the work was finished, which the customer credited them for. Credentials are worth a phone call. Its BBB file carries an A+ grade while stating the business is not BBB accredited — two separate facts. BBB also lists a Massachusetts construction supervisor licence, a Massachusetts home improvement registration and a Connecticut contractor registration for the company, but those are BBB's records rather than a state verification. For a cracked wall, a leaking bulkhead, a floor bouncing over a corroded column or an old fieldstone basement, this is a specialist rather than a general contractor, and the reviews show it doing that narrow work over and over. Get the warranty terms in writing, and confirm the registrations directly with each state registry before you sign.
“New England foundation crack repair was great. From the first call. They explained how they would fix the cracks. And were able to get my job done really fast. Could be happier.”

I was looking to have 4 tree timber Lally columns replaced in my basement. Found New England Foundation Crack Repair. Called and Cassandra answered the phone. I did not have to leave a message and either no return call or get called back several days to a weeks later. Cassandra scheduled the appointment. Will arrived on time and explained the process. Received the quote that evening. I accepted the quote and called again to schedule the work. They worked around my schedule. A permit was application was processed. They communicated as any consumer should expect. They arrived on the date and time as expected. The technicians Will and Chase were pleasant to talk to and went to work. When the job was completed, my basement clean as expected. I highly recommend New England Foundation Crack Repair.
When we needed help with a minor leak in our basement we contacted a few companies and NEFCR was the first to get back to us. They were very helpful in diagnosing the problem by looking at pictures and booked us quickly. Chase did the work on site and made a few honest recommendations before completing the work. He left the area clean and was very polite and professional. Will use again, and will absolutely recommend!
I reached out to New England Foundation to have some foundation cracks repaired and to install a few Lally columns. I give this company an A+! They were punctual, professional, and very trustworthy from start to finish. Chase was especially professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the entire process. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would definitely use New England Foundation again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of foundation repair services. Mitch
Showed on time, professional and clean. Great looking results.
This was a great experience from the first phone call to the completion of the job. Chase was the person who came out to replace a pretty corroded lally column. He offered to walk around back to the basement entrance rather than track through the living area upstairs. Very professional, made short work of the job, and the best part had the inspector lined up to inspect the job when he finished. Highly recommend NE Foundaton.
