New England HVAC Pros, based in Avon, Massachusetts, keeps showing up in the same kind of story: an air conditioner or furnace fails at the worst possible time, and someone from this crew is at the door within hours. On Google the company holds 182 ratings averaging a full 5 stars, part of 161 reviews it has picked up across four sites since last year. The last six months back that up closely — 71 reviews, only one of them negative. The same handful of technicians get named again and again: Angel, David (Dave) Smith, Cody, and Dillon, usually for diagnosing a problem out loud before quoting a fix rather than just swapping parts. One homeowner in April described a short-cycling Nest thermostat where the team recommended waiting until Monday for the lower non-emergency rate instead of pushing a weekend visit. Bigger jobs get the same care: a two-zone system replacement in June took four technicians three days to install Lennox equipment, and a boiler-and-hot-water-tank job during a February snowstorm had a crew back early the next morning to finish. Ductless mini-splits come up often too — one customer said two other companies couldn't source parts for an aging system before this one tracked the part down and had it running the next day, and another collected six competing quotes and called this one the most detailed and the best priced before a same-day condenser-and-air-handler swap. The one real complaint on record, from late February, is about price on a major replacement: a customer with a cracked furnace was quoted $21,000 with a four-day install window and steered toward 9.9% financing before getting to ask questions, then had another company do the same job for $7,000 less within a day. On a full system replacement, it's worth getting a second number before signing. Its Massachusetts HVAC license is active and current with the state. For a dead AC in July or a furnace that quits mid-blizzard, the reviews say they show up fast and explain what's actually wrong; for a big-ticket install, compare at least one other quote first.

After our AC broke beyond repair during one of the hottest weeks in June, I had trouble finding a company that could even come out to give me a quote on replacement. Multiple companies never got back to me or were booking weeks out. New England HVAC Pros came out with 2 hours, looked at my system, and gave me a proposal within 15 minutes. Any questions I had were answered promptly. The system has now been installed less than a week later, just in time for a heat wave. They exceeded expectations in every way. I highly recommend this company.
