True Heating is a Stoughton boiler shop, and reviewers describe it the same way again and again: a father-and-son team, Ed and Ted Horan, swapping out old boilers. The company says Edward T. Horan Jr. founded it in 1985, and it focuses on residential boilers, steam and hot-water systems, radiators, gas fitting and water heating; its site cites Viessmann boiler training in Germany and lists MA licence #3172C. It holds 5 stars from 32 Google ratings. Oil-to-gas conversions and boiler replacements fill the reviews. In a 2024 Google review, a customer whose Navien combi unit was leaking said Ed came out two hours after a Sunday-morning inquiry, then Ed and Ted replaced it with a Viessmann system and helped with Mass Save rebates and zero-percent financing. A 2024 customer said the company switched their home from oil to natural gas while keeping the classic steam radiators, and a 2022 family said a 60-plus-year-old oil boiler and electric water heater were replaced with a gas system that included six new radiators. In a March 2024 review, a customer said the team replaced the system it had installed 30 years earlier. The emergency stories are here too. A November 2024 reviewer said that when their pipes burst, Ed was the only one of every number they called who came out. In March 2022, a customer whose tankless heater was leaking gas and water after another plumber's repair said the company quoted and started the work the next day. A November 2025 reviewer described a Viessmann boiler fried by an electrical mishap, and a July 2026 customer called the team seasoned professionals to work with when replacing a heating system.

Great service. Prompt professional service.
True Heating Corp and the Horan team are really amazing. Besides being genuine and HONEST people, they are amazing at what they do. We had electrical mishap that fried our Vissemman Boiler (no heat or hot water). They came out same day to diagnose, and fixed as soon as possible, keeping us informed along the whole process. Couldn't be a nicer and more skilled group of heating professionals. They also installed our system and boy does this boiler impress. It was a major reason we bought our home and True Heating installed it with love - As others have said, it's looks like a work of art in our basement and impresses the nerdiest of our friends and family. If you're thinking of an upgrade BUY a Vissemman system. It is SO efficient!!! Don't forget to call the Horans for your heating needs! Thanks again Teddy and Ed!
I needed help with a Viessmann boiler and they came promptly and helped me quickly. Amazing customer service and I would highly recommend their services!
