New England Sash, Inc. is a replacement-window company at 1331 Grafton Street in Worcester, trading alongside a second name, National Energy Systems. Its own Angi copy says the two have served New England and New York "for over 25 Years" and have "installed over 500,000 windows and doors for over 100,000 homeowners", fitting vinyl replacement windows made by Schuco with triple-pane, krypton-filled glass. The verifiable record behind that is old. BuildZoom lists 75 permits, and the sample it publishes runs from July 2003 to August 2007 — mostly straightforward replacement-window jobs across eastern Massachusetts: eight double-hungs and a kitchen slider in Peabody in 2003, fourteen double-hungs with a picture and a casement unit in Brockton the same year, seventeen vinyl replacements in Newburyport in 2005 worth $17,027, twelve casements and two basement windows in Arlington in 2007 worth $14,280, plus a run of Owens Corning basement-finishing jobs in Northborough between 2004 and 2006 valued from $23,000 to nearly $30,000. A separate permit record shows a $20,814 replacement-window job in Framingham in September 2005. Only two homeowner accounts exist, both from more than twenty years ago and neither carrying a star rating. In July 2003 a customer wrote that the company "cancelled the first appointment to install but showed up early the next time and finished in about four hours (two windows, one a picture window)"; an October 2004 customer wrote before their job finished and never came back to rate it. That is far too little to score, so no rating is published here. The one thing to settle before calling is credentials. Its Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration, number 104098, is held in the registry under NEW ENGLAND SASH, INC and the registry record is expired; BuildZoom publishes the same number with an expiry date of 12 July 2010 and says it re-checked it as expired in June 2026. Ask directly about current registration and insurance before any work is scheduled.
