When a roof has to come off in a hurry, this is the kind of shop people call. A homeowner writing in November 2024 said other builders were afraid to touch an urgent roof job; Reis engineered it, ordered the lumber and machines, stripped the old trusses and had the overhaul finished in eight days. Another, in April 2025, had architectural shingles picked, ordered and laid in a single day. Reis Chaveiro runs the Shrewsbury company, which the BBB records as incorporated in 2012 and accredited since 2017 with an A+ grade. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active in the company's own name. The work spans framing, roofing, siding, decks, demolition and new home building, plus fire and water damage restoration and insurance-loss rebuilds — and that last strand runs through what customers write. One homeowner hired the company from the beginning to rebuild after a house fire, writing in November 2024 that it stayed communicative and kept its word. Another, in February 2025, called after a car struck her mother's house and credited Reis with pulling the permits and making the building safe. Two complaints sit against that. In 2023 a customer said they agreed a price and a date for a remodel, were put off for three months, then got a text saying there was no time for the project. In July 2025 a driver in Worcester left one star after watching a company van run a red light and then pass on the right, saying the call to the office went nowhere. One more thing worth knowing: one of the five-star reviews is written by the owner's child. Google sits at 4.5 across 26 ratings. For a rebuild after fire, storm or impact damage — the jobs where someone has to move fast and work with an insurer — this is where the history is strongest. Pin down a start date and a written schedule before you sign; that is exactly where the one substantive complaint landed.
