“Jon and his team with a really nice mechanical room upgrade for this condominium complex in Lowell. Some really nice work here. Well done.”
I can’t thank Nicolopoulos Plumbing enough for the incredible service today! I noticed water coming out of a line every minute or so, and it seemed to happen whenever my HVAC system made its normal cycling noise. I called Nicolopoulos Plumbing at around 3:17 PM, and they pulled into my driveway at 3:34 PM! They quickly diagnosed the issue, made the repair, and were on their way by 4:20 PM. From the time I made the call to having the problem completely fixed was only about an hour! That kind of response time and service is hard to find. Everyone was professional, efficient, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. When you have water leaking in your house, you want someone who will respond quickly and Nicolopoulos Plumbing absolutely delivered. What an amazing company. I highly recommend Nicolopoulos Plumbing and will absolutely call them again if I ever need plumbing help!
For folks who need help with plumbing, this is the choice!!! It is an awesome business. They do a fantastic job with helping out in a tough situation, show up when they say they’ll be there and they do what they say needs to be done with care, courtesy and compassion! The office staff is extremely helpful and kind. We have had a few main events that needed almost immediate attention and Nicolopoulos Plumbing and Heating were there for us. We are grateful that a dear friend referred us to this business.
Called to replace kitchen faucet. Brendan was here the next day and installed the new faucet in less than than an hour. Great company and reasonable prices.
I think I’ll start by saying I appreciate that the owner and his son were able to come out on July 3rd and take a look at our clogged waste water pipe. I wish they would have stopped at “looking at it” though. They inserted the snake and in doing so severely damaged the pipe and told us “You have some time but I wouldn’t wait on it.” Less than 24 hours after they left, we have more water in our basement than we did before calling them. Upon removing the wax that you can see in the first picture, it reveals a gigantic hole that was not there before they arrived. Incredibly disappointed in this service and I would caution others to thoroughly check the work before they leave. We were quoted $2400 to replace a 2ft section of pipe in the future but I think we’ll cut our losses at the $600 drain cleaning and go with a group that focuses on completing the work. I anticipate a response from the company along the lines of “we gave you an estimate but didn’t have the truck there with us that day to handle this kind of work”…my response to that would be, given a hole as big as the one you see in the second picture, why wouldn’t you have just scheduled a revisit for this week and told us the gravity of the situation? Any other homeowners reading this, would you be ok with a contractor leaving a hole that big in your house? Especially the main drain for your home? Edit: I had posted this review and then pulled it down until the folks we have used in the past looked at the work. They questioned why they would leave us with the giant hole in the pipe and then also confirmed that the pipe was actually crushed 50 ft into the yard and that the “clog” that John “removed” was not removed, if anything it was just pushed closer to the collapsed pipe. It’s very concerning that people like this can operate in this manner and worst yet was that his son was with him, being shown that this kind of work is acceptable. Never again and my hope is that John learns from this review and works to improve the customer experience in the future…incredibly disgraceful service.
