Out of six plumbers a customer in a mobile home called about a burst pipe, Bill was the only one who answered. That was February 2022, and WB Plumbing, a Millbury shop with 4.9★ from 56 Google ratings, has more stories like it. In a July 2024 review, a customer whose regular plumber was unavailable said Bill was the only weekend emergency call that picked up; he worked past 10pm on a Saturday on a disposal backed up after a catered event, came back Sunday with parts and stayed until about 4:30pm draining and replacing pipes. In January 2025, a customer with a clogged sink and a burst basement pipe had him at the door an hour later. Recent customers describe the same speed. In August 2026, a customer texted photos of the existing water heater, got a replacement price over the phone, and had Bill install it two days later, on time, with the area left clean. A July 2026 reviewer who has used WB three times described next-day service, arriving early, and a choice between fixing and replacing; that reviewer dealt with Dan. Price comes up often. Reviewers from 2021 through 2025 called the pricing fair or reasonable, and in a January 2026 review Bill saved a customer money by cleaning out an ejector pump instead of replacing the float. A July 2023 reviewer said he talked them through troubleshooting a macerator sump pump before they decided to replace it. Several reviewers also mention being taught along the way: a September 2025 reviewer who had just bought a house said Bill showed them basics for spotting leaks, and a December 2025 reviewer said he texted them step by step through a question about a gas stove flame the morning after a heating call. The work itself spans water heaters, sump and ejector pumps, toilets, shower leaks and, in a December 2021 review, a boiler repair. One review went the other way. In August 2025, a customer gave 1★, writing that the plumber was scheduled to start on two separate days and never showed, with no call or text.
