Every review of Non-Profit Handyman Services names the same person: Lu. The company's site never does — it is written entirely in the first person, one operator, no name given, under a banner reading "No Job Too Small!" and with a donations page attached. The jobs customers describe are exactly that small, and they range wide. A May 2026 reviewer had two separate projects done — gutter guards installed the previous summer, floating shelves reinforced more recently — and said both arrived on schedule with prompt communication throughout. A February 2026 customer had drywall repaired and painted, and made the point that the job ran the way it had been discussed. In June 2025 someone described grouting and caulking in a bathroom and kitchen plus a few other fixes around the house; in May 2023, a homeowner wrote about repairs long put off and said Lu kept in touch as decisions came up. That is five comments in all, running from May 2023 to July 2026, three of them in the last six months, and all of them on Google. It is a current record but a shallow one — enough to show a pattern of small, varied repair work done as agreed, not enough to say how the business handles a project that goes wrong. One thing worth clarifying up front: the business trades as "Non-Profit Handyman Services" and its site carries a donations page. Ask directly what that structure means for your job — how you are billed, what is charged, and what paperwork you get. For a punch list of the deferred small stuff — a wall to patch and paint, shelves that need to hold, grout and caulk gone bad, gutter guards — this is the shape of contractor that fits. Get the scope and price in writing before the work starts.
I had a great experience with Non-Profit Handyman Services, Inc. Great quality of work, professionalism, and communication! I highly recommend Lu’s work to anyone in need of handyman services.
Lu has done two projects for me — installing gutter guards last summer and recently reinforcing floating shelves — and both were completed to a very high standard. He communicated promptly throughout the process, arrived when scheduled, and clearly takes pride in his work. The shelves are now solid and secure, and the gutter guards have worked great. I would strongly recommend Lu’s handyman services to anyone looking for reliable, quality work.
Lu helped us with a drywall repair and paint. He did an excellent work. Besides, working with him was easy as everything went as it was discussed.
I had a great experience working with Lu. He helped with grouting and caulking in my bathroom and kitchen, and also fixed a couple of other things around the house. He was professional, on time, and easy to talk to. The work was done well and everything looks much better now. I would definitely recommend him and would hire him again in the future.
Lu did a wonderful job on repairs we have put off for a long time. He kept in touch as decisions came up. He has excellent skills and real concern about people.
