"Final total was exactly as Dave quoted." That is a February 2025 customer whose bathroom floor was replaced in a day and a half by a crew that showed up exactly when they said it would. Four reviewers describe hiring David Silveira more than once — one across both of their homes. North Shore Home Repair is Silveira's Peabody business: bathroom and kitchen remodels plus general repair work, decks, flooring, painting and carpentry, by its own description. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #191875, is active. The BBB grades it A+ and lists eight years in business. Bathrooms are the bulk of the work people write about. A March 2026 customer who had just moved to Beverly contracted North Shore to remodel the main bathroom, after several earlier projects with him. Also in March 2026, a homeowner had two vanities installed with the plumbing and a problem with the exhaust fans dealt with, and noted quick replies to emails, updates as the job went and an effort to keep the mess down. A February 2025 reviewer took a first-floor bath down to the studs and called the finished room beautiful, and a March 2024 customer got a new shower. The work runs past bathrooms. A September 2024 condo owner collected several quotes and had the back deck replaced, calling the prices fair and reasonable. A January 2024 reviewer listed the smaller jobs: a back slider replaced, a shed built. And a February 2025 customer had a kitchen built to a vision they brought, with Dave adding his own ideas to it. The exception is recent and, as written, unresolved. In June 2026, a customer wrote that they had paid over $1,000 as a deposit to have a sliding glass door repaired, that more than three weeks had gone by, that the door had not been replaced, and that they had been misled. Before any deposit changes hands, put in writing what it covers, when the work starts, and the delivery window for anything that has to be ordered.
