Seven reviews, one of them a two-star — and that two-star is the one worth reading. Northeast Home Renovations is a small carpentry and renovation outfit working out of 18 Ridge Street in Methuen, and its public history is both short and old: every account on file was written between late 2020 and early 2021. The work customers describe hiring it for sits at the carpentry end of the trade — decks and porches, interior doors, trim and moldings, cabinets, closets. It lists kitchen and bath remodeling as well, and its gallery runs to seventeen photos across six categories, though the jobs customers actually describe are the smaller finish-carpentry pieces. The company says it has six years of experience and calls itself a HomeAdvisor Screened & Approved pro, which is its own listing rather than an outside check. The 4.6 rating deserves a careful read. Angi and HomeAdvisor carry the identical record — same id, same seven reviews word for word — so this is one set of seven, not two sets of seven, and a single customer supplies two of them. Six are five stars. The seventh alleges a price quoted one way and billed another, a barn-door install left unfinished, money paid up front, and a refund request that went unanswered. That is one account, and it is five years old, so weigh it as history rather than a verdict on how the business runs now. It is specific enough to be worth raising directly. If you want a carpenter for a deck, a door, trim or cabinetry, this is the size of shop that takes that kind of work. Before booking, put price and scope in writing, tie payments to completed stages rather than paying up front, and ask for their Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration number along with a couple of recent references — the public praise here stops in 2021.

Antonino was very professional, responded quickly and finished the job beautifully, thank-you

I hired Antonio to install a barn door inside my home. It took longer than planned and he informed me that he would need to come back another time to finish. He asked that I pay him for the work done in case I *ghosted him*. Over the phone, he quoted one price and now he was asking a different price. He did put in extra time due to an unexpected issue. I needed him to come back, so I foolishly paid for the whole job. I did not hear from him, so I sent him a text to set up another date with no response. I called from my phone with no answer to my messages. I called from my sons phone and he answered, he told me he was booked for several weeks. I asked him to send me a refund for work paid for that was not done. That was 2 weeks ago with no response. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. (Service: Doors (Interior) - Install or Replace; $250)

it wasn't;t a big job(caulking the tub) but being elderly and handicapped prevented me from doing it.We were fortunate to get him as most wouldn't bother with a job like that. Antonio came and was very friendly , professional and did the job quickly and for a very reasonable price. I have projects more involved and will definitely be calling him in the future.
