Ten Google ratings, all five stars — and the jobs behind them are not light touch-ups. A 1965 house thick with decades of smoke and grime. A move-in clean on a place the buyer called dusty and dingy. Nostalgic Cleaning Company works out of Salem and takes residential, commercial, one-time and carpet cleaning; the company says it has been at this for over 20 years and that it is insured, bonded, and background-checks every team member. The through-line in what customers wrote is thoroughness on the hard jobs. In a September 2025 review, a homeowner who hired the crew for their father's house said they spent multiple days on it and documented the work with before-and-after photos, down to pulling the original carpeting out of a bedroom and bathroom. A July 2025 move-in clean drew a similar account: arrived on time, cobwebs cleared from the windows, kitchen tile and bathroom vent wiped down, light fixtures cleaned, the basement's musty odor gone. A 2022 customer bought a home the previous owners' cat had covered in fur and said afterward they barely remembered it. Two names keep surfacing. A December 2025 reviewer credited David with moving their cleaning at the last minute after a family medical emergency, and a May 2024 review named David and Stephanie on a deep clean of living areas. That is the shape of the business people describe: small, reachable, willing to shift a date. The honest limit is volume. Six written accounts spanning 2022 to 2025, sitting on a base of ten Google ratings, is a short history to judge from — unanimous, but not deep, and the newest of those accounts dates to December 2025. Nothing negative appears anywhere in it. The insurance, bonding and two-decade tenure are the company's own statements rather than anything checked against an outside register, so treat them that way. Massachusetts requires no trade license for house cleaning, so there is nothing to look up on that front. They are a sensible call for a deep clean, a move-in or move-out, or a house that has been let go — the jobs their customers actually describe.
