O&P Landscapes is a one-crew operation out of Salem, run by Tom O'Hare Jr., who says he started mowing neighborhood lawns as a middle schooler and turned it into a business after graduating from Saint Anselm College with degrees in business and Spanish. The company describes itself as serving Salem and the nearby Northshore towns of Beverly, Danvers, Marblehead, Peabody, and Swampscott, with a service list built around routine yard care: mowing, spring and fall cleanups, pruning, mulching, aeration and seeding, and garden-bed weeding. The trust runs deep for an operation this size. Google shows 113 ratings and every one is five stars, and the Better Business Bureau — which O&P hasn't pursued accreditation with — still grades it A+ with no complaints on file. The pattern across five years of reviews barely varies: Tom, sometimes working alongside one other person, shows up on schedule, answers the phone, and leaves the property cleaner than he found it. The jobs customers mention most are seasonal cleanups and mulching, with several calling out specific attention to edging and bed detail, and more than one homeowner notes bringing O&P back for a second or third year running. The Better Business Bureau lists O&P as a single-employee business, which lines up with reviews describing Tom working with one helper rather than a full crew — worth factoring in if a job is large or timing is tight, since demand for cleanups peaks every spring and fall. For ongoing lawn care and seasonal cleanup in Salem and the immediate Northshore area, O&P has built a clean multi-year record. It suits a homeowner who wants the same small crew back season after season rather than a rotating one; call early in spring or fall to get on the schedule.

Tom and his crew just finished mulching and it looks amazing. They weeded before and swept up after. Tom always takes the time to listen to our concerns and is very responsive. We are very pleased with the work they have done and would highly recommend them for landscaping and mulching.
