Salem Design Landscape & Construction

Salem Design Landscape & Construction, known to its customers as Salem DLC, is a Salem-based company that describes itself as a residential and commercial landscaping, irrigation, construction and snow removal contractor serving Salem and Boston's North Shore. The company says it works across Salem, Beverly, Swampscott, Marblehead, Peabody, Danvers, Lynn and several Cape Ann towns, and its BBB listing names Kieran Kavanaugh as the owner. A Reddit commenter in r/SalemMA recommended the company this month, saying it did an awesome job on their patio and walkways. That lines up with what its Google reviewers wrote earlier: in an October 2025 review, a homeowner described the project from the design stage through installation as a great experience, praising the communication, attention to detail and reasonable costs, and said the crew took great care with their yard. The work is not only outdoors. In a December 2024 review, a customer said their bathroom renovation came out well and was finished quickly, and a 2021 reviewer said the company handled office and bathroom renovations for their office building while its landscaping team maintains the grounds, plants and flowers. Another 2021 review named Kieran directly, describing him as professional and on time for appointments, with weekly lawn and garden maintenance through the spring and summer. The written track record is short: four Google reviews between 2021 and 2025, all five stars, with a 5-star Google rating from six ratings. Its BBB page shows an A+ grade, though the business is not BBB accredited.
