Oleg Handyman service

Oleg Handyman Service is a one-to-two-person outfit in Auburndale run by Oleg Mirleanu (the business entity is OM INSTALL LLC), offering repairs, carpentry, appliance and door installation, and cleaning across the Boston area. The Better Business Bureau gives it an A rating with zero complaints on file. The reviews describe quick, competent work on a mix of small jobs: a 2025 review says Oleg accommodated a next-day request, assembled a dining table set, mounted a shelf, and fixed a wobbly coffee table without being asked. Another 2025 review describes replacing both a storm door and a main door in a single day, troubleshooting issues along the way and recommending a better storm door. A separate 2025 review calls a basketball hoop and fitness equipment installation exceptionally professional, prompt, and precisely on time. One thing worth flagging directly: the company's own site claims 16 years of experience, its Thumbtack profile separately says 11 years, and the Better Business Bureau lists the LLC's start date as March 2024 — about two years. None of the three sources resolve the gap. Separately, a 2025 review about an interior door install and shelf removal noted a minor misunderstanding over pricing, though the reviewer said they'd hire again. For small repairs, door and appliance installs, or furniture assembly around Auburndale, the reviews describe fast, careful work — it's worth asking directly how long Oleg has actually been doing this work, given how much the stated figures disagree.
