Rafik Handyman Service & Home Improvement's written record runs from 2013 to 2015 — a dense run of Angi reviews from the site's Big Deal era, not anything more recent — and Angi's own dashboard for the account shows a 4.3-star average across 35 ratings with 54% five-star. The through-line across those years is competent, careful small-job work at a fair price: a 2013 reviewer called him very competent and said he left everything in good shape for about half what a previous handyman charged, and another 2013 review of two Big Deal jobs described him as diligent, well-organized and mindful of cost. The recurring friction is scheduling and money, not craftsmanship: several 2013–2014 reviews describe slow callbacks, late or early arrivals, and travel-time or complexity charges that weren't spelled out up front. One 2013 reviewer felt pushed toward a pricier window-replacement job after asking only for painting and vacuuming. Two accounts stand apart as real quality problems: a 2014 review reported paying $1,000 for work that a later roofer called very poor, and a 2013 review of a bathroom repair described a tilted shower-rod base, a cracked window board, and a threshold that later became a hazard. Given how dated this record is, it's worth asking directly about current pricing, scheduling, and what's included before booking.

He did a fantastic job. He was timely, polite, and completed the job effectively and with good workmanship. Later walked me through a simpler and cheaper solution.
He charged me $1000 to do the work and the roofer I have now said the work Rafik did was very poor.
He was very slow in getting back to me. So no need to use him.
It went well and he did good work. He can be direct/blunt at first about prior work being done wrong, but the quality was good and efficient. A little tough to communicate at the beginning; he called when running late.
The job went very well. They charged extra because it was more complicated than anticipated. Good workmanship, professional and timely, prompt except for one reschedule.
