In an April 2026 review, a contractor who says he is picky about the crews he hires for his own customers picked Ray and his team to carry a large, heavy double-vanity with a quartz top attached up a challenging staircase. Another April 2026 customer wrote that when one piece got tricky, the crew worked the problem so there was no damage to the furniture or the house. A May 2026 reviewer was booking them for the second time, for a household heavy-moving job. Turnaround comes up too: a March 2026 customer found same-day availability for a few items, and a late-March reviewer said the team arrived on time, finished the move fast, and set up a piece of furniture afterwards. A few practical things before you call. Thumbtack states a $250 minimum for most moving jobs, and Angi says the business does not do free estimates, so settle the price up front. Thumbtack has also shown furniture moving as unavailable, so confirm they are taking the job you actually have. For a heavy, awkward single-item move or a small household job out of Methuen, this is the kind of two-person crew that handles it. Confirm the quote against the minimum, and check that the piece you need moved is one they are currently booking.
This was my second time hiring One Life for a household heavy moving task. Thru were responsive and thoughtful about doing a good job.
The guys did a great job! They were efficient, polite and when one piece got a little tricky to move they problem solved in a way that made sure there was no damage to my furniture or house. I would definitely use them again.
As a contractor - I am very picky about the people I hire to work for my customers - and so, when I needed a mover to carry a large and very heavy double-vanity with a quartz top attached …up a challenging staircase…I chose Ray and his team - and I can honestly say that they were GREAT! They showed up on time and went over and above the call of duty … even attaching the legs before leaving. They were a five star moving team and I would definitely use them again!!
