Mimi's Moving and Storage

My husband and I are older and I wanted to move some expensive furniture from the basement to the first floor this furniture was heavy five peaces in all. I also needed chairs moved and a china cabinet moved from the first floor to the second floor. I decided to find a mover who would do this since we just could not. We researched many different places and called a few the prices were really up there! we then called Mimi’s. The person who call us was Peter, very nice gave us a reasonable price and we set up a date and time. He sent three men who were very nice and respectful of my home they came in we told them what needed to be done and they waisted no time within an hour it was all done. They covered the furniture and were very careful with moving the furniture. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I highly Recommend Mimi’s if you need a mover or like me you just have furniture that needs moving in your home .

I wasn’t happy with my experience. I asked for a receipt to be emailed to me the day of service and also over the phone about a week later and never received one. I was charged significantly more than my quote. My basement door where I moved to got a long scratch across it and wasn’t informed about until I noticed it myself. My TV stand has a piece missing from it that they broke. They broke a suitcase of mine, they are not gentle with your stuff. The day of the move I left 2 wallets worth something to me containing personal information cards, and a small amount of cash in old bills in my nightstand. Then after the move I realized they were gone from my nightstand. Peter was rude on the phone, instead of working with the situation he said the people who did my move was his relatives and close family friends. Saying “1000% wasn’t them” and basically saying I was lying. I will never recommend this unprofessional company to anyone.

The best! I was completely unpacked and moving out of a stressful situation and the team rolled with it, packed and moved on the fly and made it an overall wonderful experience! Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for movers, I highly recommend Mimi’s Moving. Peter and the entire team are absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to help me declutter my home before putting it on the market. They hauled away trash, took donations, and moved items into storage to make my home ready to sell. After my house sold, they came back to help clear out everything that was left and carefully moved it all into my new home. They were professional, hardworking, efficient, and incredibly kind throughout the entire process. Moving is stressful, but they made everything so much easier. I truly couldn’t have done it without them. I’m so grateful for all of their help and would recommend Mimi’s Moving to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy moving company.

They did a great job helping us move our entire business from Salem to Andover. They are the best mover we have ever used! Highly recommended.
