Ortiz Solutions is a painting outfit run out of Lynn by an owner customers call Eder, who works with a small crew and, by the company's own account, has been at it 26 years. The work described is straightforward residential painting, inside and out, with the plaster and prep that goes with it. The most detailed account came in April 2025, when a homeowner hired Eder to paint exterior walls, sand and refinish a built-in hutch, and plaster, sand and paint ceilings — she said the ceilings, walls and hutch looked brand new and the crew went past what she expected. This June a customer had the front and back stairs painted and noted the crew also did the sides of the back stairs, which the estimate hadn't covered. In May, another mentioned Benjamin Moore paints and a crew that respected the house. Two things about the record are worth understanding before you weigh it. The reviews sit on Angi and HomeAdvisor, which publish the identical fourteen — that is one review record shown twice, not two independent ones. And nine of the fourteen were posted in a single month, May 2024, most of them a line or two long: good work, good prices, would recommend. Real, but not much to learn from. So the useful signal is thinner than fourteen five-star reviews sounds, though it points consistently in one direction: work finished on time, a tidy site, and prices customers describe as reasonable — a July 2024 reviewer specifically noted the crew cleaned up afterwards. Good fit for a house that needs painting done without drama — rooms, ceilings, exterior walls and stairs — especially if budget is the deciding factor. Get the scope in writing before the crew starts, including surface prep and how many coats, and ask who from the crew will actually be on site, since much of the praise attaches to Eder himself.
