An April 2026 Google reviewer blamed Palmer for two hours of standstill traffic on westbound I-90 on April 14. According to that reviewer, the driver became irate when filmed, and an arriving police officer said the company had already been warned about the confusing driving situation. A reviewer writing in September 2020 said they lived off Plum Tree Road in Springfield, praised the company's work and thanked the workers for their effort.
Stuck in 2 hours of stand-still traffic on I-90 WB 4-14-26 at 7 PM thanks to palmer paving. By contract , they're not supposed to be on the road till after 9 pm. Their milling operation is horrendous, their mix quality has suffered tremendously since Peckham industries bought them. They got rid of experienced management and QC personnel. Booo peckham , Booooo!! Do better, you have desecrated palmer's decades-old reputation. Let's see if this year's paper joint tapers knock everyone's teeth out and ruin wheels & suspension like last year I-90 Ludlow...
The asphalt is hot, black and sticky. Went down beautifully and smooth as silk.
Palmer paving has a decent section of Buckland Hills under construction right now. Whoever was driving the truck today with the license V35-252 had a lane blocked off with a bunch of traffic cones all the way up to this vehicle with all of the construction lights flashing indicating that he was a parked vehicle in a construction zone. I turned from the lane next to that since they had that lane blocked off and this vehicle decided that he was turning as well, previously unindicated as he had all of the lights blinking on his vehicle including the ones on the top. The driver then followed me all the way to my destination, blocked me into my parking spot and notified me that there would be a cop arriving shortly to ticket me. When I took a video of the blinking lights on the vehicle and the license plate to protect myself, the driver became irate. When the policeman arrived he indicated that he had previously warned them about the confusing driving situation that they had created and still had not fixed.
I live off Plum tree Rd in Springfield and they did a great job 👍 thanks to all for your hard work!!!
