A June 2026 customer said Wilson’s Paving & Construction left out the garage-entrance work they had agreed to when quoting a driveway. The customer reported confirming that scope again on the morning of the job, then being told the paving would interfere with the garage-door sensors. Wilson’s reduced the bill by $250, the reviewer said, but did not complete the disputed work. The Chicopee company offers residential and commercial asphalt and concrete paving, according to information it supplied to the Better Business Bureau. Its website advertises free estimates and says it is insured. Google shows a 3.8-star average from 29 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+. Earlier customers described driveway work they were pleased with. In an October 2025 Google review, a customer praised the conversion of a 900-foot gravel road into a driveway, along with responsiveness and competitive pricing. A May 2025 reviewer praised the crew’s attention to detail on a new driveway. In June 2023, a homeowner described old asphalt being removed from a driveway and walkway, followed by grading and repaving. They said the crew worked in tight spaces near a newly installed retaining wall and finished in one day. An August 2021 customer also recommended Wilson’s after hiring it for a second driveway. A BBB reviewer reported problems with paving levels and property damage. That complaint and the June 2026 account concern the work itself, including the agreed scope and how the paving met surrounding features.
When looking to get my driveway done I purposely wanted a company that could go into my garage entrance since the uneven payment was causing mice to get in. When I got a quote from wilsons they assured me it could be done. The morning of we reviewed the scope of work and we confirmed they would go into the garage entrance as discussed. They completed the work and they did not do what was discussed. The foreman told me 'my boss said we couldn't do it because it would sit higher and mess up the sensors on your garage door". I explained it was the whole reason I wanted the driveway done and if I had known they couldn't do it I would have went with another vendor who could. The 'boss' never got out of his truck to come discuss this with me, instead making the foreman play middleman in the conversation. It was explained to me that the person who gave me the quote was likely the bosses son in law who didn't even work for them and didn't know they wouldn't do that part. I explained that the quote I received was for that work. They took $250 off the total cost but did not offer to fix the work or complete as discussed. Now I have to figure out what to do about my garage entrance.
Wilson‘s did a great job transitioning our 900 foot gravel road to a beautiful driveway. Very professional, responsive and competitively price. Highly recommended!
Beautiful work by an amazing team! I have had great luck with outstanding contractors this year. Wilson's entire crew was professional and knowledgeable. They are true craftsmen who pay attention to the details. I could not be happier with our new driveway. Thanks guys!
Shout out to Wilson's! My husband and I are so happy with our new walkway and driveway! Our old driveway and walkway were in rough condition and needed to be replaced. Wilson's came to our rescue! They tore up all the old asphalt from the driveway and walkway, graded, and re-paved everything. It looks beautiful! They had to work in some tight spaces near a newly installed retaining wall. They did an amazing job! Friendly, hardworking crew! I can't believe they did this all in one day. Thank you so much Wilson's!
Did a second driveway for me. Absolutely the best. Great crew. Attention to detail. Price/value 👍🏻 100% Recommendation.
