So the call is simple: ask him which licences are current today, get the numbers, and check them yourself with the Massachusetts Department of Public Safety and the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation before any work starts. Ask for a couple of recent local references too — nothing written by past customers appears on his profile.
