Ang Electrical is a Lynn electrician run by Norman Aguilar, a state-licensed master electrician handling panel upgrades, rewiring, and the electrical problems other contractors have passed on. Its written reviews run from 2018 through early 2025 across Google and Thumbtack, averaging 4.9 from 13 Google ratings and 4.8 from 57 on Thumbtack — a deep, consistent track record even though nothing on file is more recent than last year. Speed is the recurring theme. In an early-2025 review, a customer described a full 100-to-200-amp panel upgrade — new basement lighting, replaced fixtures, an updated thermostat — that Norman scheduled almost immediately and finished fast. Another 2024 review said a call on a Tuesday afternoon got a crew on-site by 7:30 the next morning, who then fixed the problem and cleaned up. Other 2024 reviews describe rewiring a second floor and clearing unsafe attic wiring during a 100-to-200-amp upgrade, installing outlets and lights in unfinished basements, and swapping a light fixture after Norman beat other estimates on price and availability. In a 2018 review — the oldest on file — a homeowner said Norman found a dangerous wiring problem nobody had noticed in 11 years of living there and fixed it quickly at a reasonable price. Its Massachusetts electrician license is active, verified under Norman Aguilar's own name. BuildZoom separately lists a currently active Electrical Business license (#8613) for the company alongside a now-inactive prior registration (#4699) — the company's own commercial licensing history, distinct from Norman's personal license. Its Thumbtack profile also states he gives a free estimate before starting a job. Nothing in the ten reviews on file raises a concern — no pricing complaints, no missed appointments, no communication gaps across seven years of accounts. The one thing worth confirming directly is current availability, since the newest review on file is from early 2025. For a panel upgrade, a rewiring job, or an electrical problem that's stumped someone else, Ang Electrical's record points to a crew that gets there fast and does the work cleanly — worth calling before locking in another quote, since more than one reviewer said Norman's price and availability beat the competition.
So happy to have found Norman and his team!! They did a full electrical upgrade (100 to 200 amp), installed new basement lights, replaced all of my existing light fixtures, added new fixtures in new spots, and updated my thermostat and outlets. Not only did Norman get me on the schedule ASAP, but he and his team worked so fast. When I accidentally ordered a MASSIVE chandelier for my small dining room, Norman patiently waited for me to get a new fixture in its place that better suit the room. His work is impeccable and his team is incredibly efficient. BIG thanks to Norman and his team. Will always recommend!!!
ANG Electrical did an outstanding job! They went above and beyond. Really appreciate the great work. The team was able to accommodate a change order while on site. Sourced & purchased the item. Highly recommend!
Prompt, professional, great communication. Will call them again!
Called around for estimates - Norman gave the best price and earliest availability. They swapped out a lighting fixture for me. They were professional, quick, and did excellent work. Next time I need an electrician, they’ll be my go to! Very happy!
Norman and his crew did a great job, with attention to the smallest details and efficiency from beginning to end, I would highly recommend ANG Electrical
