Service upgrades are the job ANG Electrical's customers keep writing about. Two Thumbtack reviewers, one in February 2024 and one in February 2025, each had their house taken from 100 to 200 amps — the 2024 job also covering second-floor rewiring, grounded outlets and GFCIs, and unsafe wiring cleared out of the attic. Norman Aguilar runs the business from Lynn, Massachusetts, and his Massachusetts electrician licence, #23359, is active on the state registry. Scheduling turns up almost as often as the work itself. An April 2024 Google reviewer called on a Tuesday afternoon and had the team on site at 7:30 the next morning; a December 2024 reviewer, shopping estimates for a light-fixture swap, wrote that Norman came back with both the best price and the earliest availability. The small jobs read the same way. In November 2024 a Thumbtack customer had two outlets and two lights put into an unfinished basement and described it going exactly as requested, easy from estimate to completion with no surprises. A March 2024 reviewer had two outlets added, one of them in a tough location, and said the house was left as though nobody had been there. In January 2025, a Google reviewer noted the team took on a change order mid-job and sourced and bought the part themselves. The sharpest account is the oldest: back in 2018, a Thumbtack customer wrote that Norman uncovered a dangerous wiring problem nobody had noticed in the eleven years they had lived in the house. Google shows 4.9 stars across 13 ratings; Thumbtack averages 4.8 across 57, 91% of them five-star, with about 4% sitting at one or two stars. For a panel upgrade, rewiring an older house, or a handful of outlets and fixtures, ANG is a straightforward call — Norman's Thumbtack page says he gives a free estimate before starting. Get that estimate in writing with materials and permits spelled out, and ask who will be on site for the work.
