Several customers came to the Mansfield company as the roofing half of a solar job. A September 2024 reviewer had Peak take scope changes on the fly — exhaust vents, roof-vent changes, trim and gutter work — to get the house ready for a new system, and a June 2024 customer had the roof done before partners at Summit Energy set the panels, calling the price competitive for the materials. A trade magazine listed the operation as Summit Energy/PEAK Roofing of Mansfield in March 2026. Reviewers name the people they dealt with. Brien comes across as easy to work with and knowledgeable in a January 2025 review, written by a customer whose barn roof was replaced and shed ridge vent repaired on one of the coldest days of the year. Jim the foreman walked a November 2023 customer through everything the crew was doing. Jeremy, in March 2024, laid out the problem areas and the proposed fixes at what that homeowner called a reasonable price. And a December 2023 customer with rotted fascia and soffit behind a failing gutter cover went with Peak after other bidders would not take on the rotted boards. Two accounts run the other way. A September 2024 one-star review describes a roof installed on December 6, 2023 through a Summit Solar deal and, in a storm four days later, water pouring through the ceiling all night; the reviewer called their solar contact and Peak came immediately. In a December 2023 four-star review, a homeowner said permits took over four weeks — told the delay was the town changing its fees, they called the permit office themselves and were told the permit was approved and waiting on complete payment from the company. For a shingle replacement, on its own or ahead of solar, this is a quick and tidy crew. Its Thumbtack profile lists ten years in business, a CertainTeed Master Shingle Certification and owner Troy Carter as background-checked. Get the permit timeline and the payment schedule in writing before the tear-off, and ask who answers the phone if the roof leaks in the first storm.
