Jason prices the job, tells you he cannot start for about a month because of what he already has going, and then his crew turns up on the day he said. That is the shape of a January 2026 account: a competitive bid, design suggestions the customer liked, and every trade — plumbers included — arriving under one contract. Straightline Design Build works out of North Attleboro across Attleboro, Foxboro, Plainville, Mansfield and Wrentham, describes itself as family-owned, and its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. Some of the older accounts carry over from a predecessor name, RJC Home Improvements; an April 2021 Houzz reviewer thanks "the RJC team" for finishing their basement. Basements come up most. In January 2021 a customer handed Jason a few photos pulled off the internet for a 1,200-square-foot unfinished basement and said he built exactly that. In April 2021 another called a complete basement remodel on time, on budget, and matched to the design of the rest of the house. In June 2022 a customer finishing a basement in a fairly new home said Jason understood the goal from the first meeting and brought ideas of his own to it. Bathrooms and kitchens make up the rest. A December 2025 customer had a master bathroom shower rebuilt after a leak turned up and described the work as fast and the questions answered quickly. In February 2024 an upstairs bathroom was taken back to the studs and returned with new tile, new flooring and more light. In October 2024 a customer had a kitchen, a bathroom and a garage entry done together and said the suggestions were on the money. Back in November 2020, a laundry room needed an awkward junction with an existing step-down porch and several trades scheduled around one another; that customer said Jay met every one of those challenges. Twelve written accounts span 2020 to 2026, and the platform averages are 5.0 on Houzz, HomeAdvisor and Angi and 5.0 across seven Google ratings. The BBB grades the company A+ and lists it as accredited; BuildZoom records nine permitted projects over the past three years. For a basement finish, a bathroom gut, or any remodel that needs several trades sequenced under one contract around Attleboro, this is a straightforward call, and customers say the start date Jason quotes is the one they get. Get that date in writing when you sign, and ask to see the current construction supervisor licence — the directories do not agree on when it expires.
It was a great experience working with Jason. Each of the trades did top notch work.
Jason did an absolutely amazing job redoing our kitchen, bathroom and garage entry. His suggestions were spot on. Great to work with.
So pleased with my experience with Straightline Design! Jason and his team took care of a master bathroom shower remodel after a leak was discovered. Super quick, responsive to any questions, and I love how it turned out. Would recommend!
Excellent work. Exceed expectations of what the finished product would look like. Very easy to work with and explained what was being done and why. Will hire again
Jason came out and gave me a competitive bid, offered some good suggestions on the design, and he would be able to start in about a months time due to his ongoing projects. Jason's team came when promised, they were polite, and professional. Jason has all the trades (plumbers / Drywall / electrical / Tile / Hardwood / Roofing) available to him and there were no delays caused waiting for individuals to arrive. The job went a little over schedule, due to us adding some work, but Jason was glad to accommodate the changes and also recommended a few upgrades while the job was ongoing such as fixing an updated section of the roof. Jason was prompt in fixing each of the issues we identified before the final inspection / Payment - we are very happy with the kitchen / first floor remodel.
