A leak found behind a master bathroom shower in December 2025 is how one homeowner met Straightline Design Build; the review says Jason and his crew handled the rebuild quickly and answered questions along the way. One room at a time, rebuilt properly, is most of what this North Attleboro design-build shop gets hired for. Its own site describes a family-owned company, 20 years in business, working North Attleboro, Attleboro, Foxboro, Plainville, Mansfield and Wrentham; Angi and HomeAdvisor list 14 years. Nine of the twelve written accounts name Jason. The recent ones are bathrooms: an upstairs bath gutted and rebuilt with new tile, flooring and more lighting in a February 2024 review, a master bedroom and bathroom in June 2024, and a kitchen, bathroom and garage entry in October 2024. A September 2025 customer wrote that the finished product exceeded what they had pictured, and that Straightline explained what was being done and why. Basements run through the earlier half of the history. A January 2021 reviewer handed Jason a few photos found online and got 1,200 square feet of unfinished basement turned into finished space; an April 2021 basement remodel came in, in that customer's words, "right on time and budget"; a June 2022 client had a complete basement finish done in a fairly new home. A November 2020 laundry-room project involved an unusual transition to an existing step-down porch and several trades to schedule, and that homeowner credited "Jay" with meeting the challenges. A March 2025 customer described a competitive bid and good design suggestions, with a start about a month out because of Jason's ongoing projects — the crew then came when promised. That lead time is the thing to nail down if your job has a date attached. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #206998, is active on the state registry under the company's own name; its BBB page is an A+ and lists the company as accredited, and BuildZoom counts nine permitted projects over the past three years. For a bathroom gut, a basement build-out, or a remodel where several trades have to land in the right order, this is a small owner-run outfit with a permit trail behind it. Ask when Jason can actually start. And if you are reading the Angi or HomeAdvisor page, both say some of the older reviews there carried over from a predecessor name, RJC Home Improvements — the April 2021 Houzz reviewer thanked "the RJC team" for the basement.
