We had a late-night problem with the heater in our condo, and the upstairs bedrooms got much too cold to sleep comfortably. I went online and sent in a service request, then called the next morning right when they opened. Brendan was very helpful, had already reviewed my request, and understood that we needed fast heater repair. Matthew arrived within a few hours, checked the system, and let me know it was a routine igniter issue. The furnace was repaired quickly, and we had heat restored the same day. This is a dependable local heating repair company that deserves support. Their customer service was excellent, the technician was skilled, and the whole process felt honest and professional. It is not easy to find a heating service team with strong communication, real technical knowledge, and reliable furnace repair, but this company delivered. I highly recommend them for heater repair and related heating system service.

Perfecttemp Heating, Air & Electric is the absolute best!! herbert pulled every string possible to help me get the furnace repair part that had been on back order for a long time. he managed to get it in earlier than expected, which was a huge relief for my family. ross showed up early, diagnosed the heating problem within an hour, and quickly tracked down the needed parts so the furnace could be fixed the same day. After dealing with no reliable heat for weeks, i was incredibly grateful for his experience, fast troubleshooting, and determination to get my system running again. Everyone involved was helpful, professional, and easy to work with. After calling different heating companies and getting nowhere, i finally found the right team to handle my furnace and HVAC unit. Truly the best service, and now my home feels comfortable and safe again.
Great furnace repair and heating service with a very experienced team and a friendly, knowledgeable leader. I worked with Brendan, Herbert, Matthew, and the rest of the crew, and every one of them was respectful, kind, and easy to talk to. I had a new heating and air system installed along with an extra return, and the whole job was handled smoothly from start to finish. The installers arrived on time, acted professionally, and clearly explained each step of the install and furnace setup process. I had many questions about the heating system, airflow, and thermostat operation, and they answered everything in simple terms that were easy to understand. Their knowledge of furnace work, HVAC installation, and system performance really stood out. The equipment delivery and lift were well coordinated, and the work area was kept neat the entire time. All debris was organized and removed promptly while the crew was still on site, which showed real care for the home and the customer experience. Later on, when the thermostat started acting up, Matthew came out, diagnosed the issue quickly, and had a replacement thermostat installed and working properly within a day. The follow-up furnace service was just as professional and efficient as the original installation. This was one of the best experiences I have had with a heating and furnace repair company. I highly recommend them to anyone in Maynard who wants reliable service, skilled technicians, and courteous people who truly care about doing the job right.
i spoke with ross at the counter about my furnace repair. he was very nice, patient, and helpful. i explained the issue with the blower not turning, and he said the capacitor was a likely cause. I picked up the part, tried it, and when the furnace still was not running right, I called back. ross explained that the blower motor could also be the problem since the unit is older. He helped me get the correct replacement motor and clearly walked me through what needed to be done because the new motor was a different brand. When I got home, I spent several hours removing the old blower motor and installing the new one. After that, my furnace was running again and the house started warming back up, which was a big relief during cold Maynard weather. ross took the time to answer my questions and made the whole furnace service process much easier. Great help, good advice, and a very positive experience overall.
A few weeks ago, our AC quit working right during a very humid stretch, and the airflow from the vents became really weak. The upstairs stayed around 78 even though the thermostat was set much lower, and the system kept short cycling every few minutes. I was stressed because the condenser would turn on, but the air handler was not pushing enough cool air, and the evaporator coil had started to freeze up. The HVAC technician, Ross, arrived and diagnosed the problem quickly. He checked the refrigerant pressure, tested the capacitor, cleared a clogged condensate drain, and found that the blower motor was struggling while the air filter was extremely dirty. He also looked over the return and supply airflow, confirmed the thermostat was reading correctly, and made sure the whole HVAC system was operating the way it should. After replacing the failed part, cleaning the system, and improving the airflow, the difference was huge. The house started cooling evenly again, especially on the second floor, and the indoor comfort improved fast. What stood out most was how calm and helpful Ross was while answering all of my questions. He explained in simple terms why the evaporator coil iced up, what was causing the short cycling, and what basic AC maintenance would help prevent the issue from coming back. He also gave helpful advice about keeping up with filter changes, watching airflow at the vents, and scheduling seasonal HVAC service to keep the system efficient through humid Massachusetts weather. We had a very positive experience overall. The home had been uncomfortable before the repair, especially upstairs, but now the cooling is steady, the humidity feels much better controlled, and the system sounds smooth and healthy instead of constantly struggling.
