This review is long overdue, but I cannot say enough amazing things about Rachel and Dolores! My husband and I found Rachel through the informative social media videos she makes with her mom. Their videos were educational and honest, and they made the whole home buying process feel a lot less intimidating. After working with her, we can confidently say she’s just as amazing in real life as she is online! When we’re primarily looking for an older home with lots of character. When working with Rachel, our best interests were always the priority, and it honestly seemed like Rachel understood what we wanted even better than we did. Her approach is honest, educational, and incredibly thoughtful. As someone who can definitely be a bit of a dreamer, I really appreciated having someone who could bring me back down to earth. Like any home buying process, we ran into a few “fun surprises” during the inspection, and having Rachel in our corner made all the difference. Everything felt much more manageable because we had someone so knowledgeable helping us think through our options and advocate for us. Thanks to her and all the hard work she put in, we ultimately landed our dream home. Her experience with older homes was also a huge plus. We learned so much along the way about what projects were realistic for us to take on and what things we should be paying attention to. Rachel also had great recommendations for local businesses and contractors, which made things much easier. And beyond all of the professional expertise, she’s just genuinely fun to be around! Rachel and Delores went way above and beyond getting my father’s house ready for market and sold quickly. My siblings and I grew up in Newburyport but all live on the West Coast now. When my dad passed away, he left behind a large house filled with 30-years’ worth of stuff and in need of significant work. Rachel and Delores coordinated and oversaw: - Junk removal - Estate sale - Interior and exterior painting - Pool repair and maintenance - Professional cleaning and smoke mitigation - Staging Every person they recommended was top-notch, the house was on the market in 3 months, and no one in my family was in-state for any of it. Beyond their extreme competence and real estate knowledge, Rachel and Delores are great people. I enjoyed all of our interactions and they were a huge comfort during one of the most challenging experiences of my life. I’d recommend Rachel and Delores to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Newburyport area, but particularly to anyone with a house that feels too daunting to get on the market—they can make it happen. We got a good offer on the house within a couple months and the sales process was very smooth. Purchasing a home, in northeastern MA is not for the feint-hearted. A rollercoaster of emotions is an understatement. Having Rachel in our corner for every insane step of the adventure was key. She handled my absolute insanity, and anxiety with precision and expertise I imagine she’s gained over years of experience. I couldn’t imagine having achieved closing on our forever home without her. Personable, real, relatable, professional as required, but genuine and blunt when I needed grounding. Everything you want in the person handling the biggest financial and emotional transaction of your life.

Working with Rachel was the best decision we made - as first time home buyers we were in uncharted waters, but Rachel was so patient and made sure to explain everything we were doing. She had our best interest in mind during the whole process and we hope to call her again in the future!
