A car had been driven into one homeowner's garage; another, in October 2025, had ten days to get a basement finished while a teenager was away. Pierre Construction takes both the afternoon repair and the full renovation, and the company says it is family-owned, based in New Bedford, and 20 years in. The 2026 reviews run to small and mid-size jobs. A May 2026 Angi customer says the crew came out fast to quote the garage damage and kept in touch while the insurance was sorted out; a July 2026 reviewer says they worked to his budget and adjusted when complications came up; an April 2026 review covers bifold attic stairs that needed on-the-fly adjustments to fit. Several reviewers say they would hire the company again. The bigger jobs are in there too. An October 2025 Angi reviewer had a kitchen and master bathroom remodeled and wall-to-wall carpet replaced with hardwood; a January 2024 customer hired David Pierre, his crew and subcontractors for a new bathroom, a remodel of an existing one, an attic converted to living space, spray insulation and a rewire of a 180-year-old Plymouth house; in 2021 a BuildZoom reviewer had a porch rebuilt as a covered farmers porch, eight double-hung windows replaced and the house resided. Money on large projects is where the complaints sit. A September 2025 reviewer wrote that they paid nearly 30% more than the original $260,000 quote even after the project was cut back in size, and called it exploitation. A January 2024 reviewer describes a $70,000 verbal quote for an attic renovation that came back a week later as a $100,000 written contract. An April 2023 reviewer says an estimate appointment was booked and nobody came. Its BBB page, which carries an A+ grade and accreditation, also holds customer complaints. They are a good fit for a deck, a stair replacement, a bathroom or a mid-size remodel, where the write-ups are specific and customers come back. Before a renovation of any real size, get the full price in writing ahead of the deposit, and settle in advance what a change in scope does to the number.
