WC Builders is a Kingston, Massachusetts design/build firm serving the South Shore, and by its own account it started as a carpentry-focused outfit before growing into full residential and commercial construction and renovation work — custom builds, kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and exterior and interior projects. The company says it draws on a family history in the trade; it's owner-operated by John, the general contractor and project manager, who has more than two decades in construction and a U.S. Marine Corps background, with Erika running the office and interior design side. On Google, the ten ratings the company has collected are unanimously five stars, and the reviews behind that number lean overwhelmingly positive — a consistent, communicative, on-schedule process comes up again and again, without a single complaint turning up across that history. Ten reviews is still a modest sample, so it reads as an encouraging pattern more than a long track record yet. There's nothing in the reviews or company history to flag — no pricing disputes, no scheduling complaints, nothing of concern surfaces. Given how broad the company's own description of its work is — everything from finish carpentry to full additions and kitchen or bath renovation — it's worth confirming upfront which of those a given project actually falls under. For a South Shore homeowner with a carpentry-rooted job — trim work, door and window replacement, or a larger addition — WC Builders looks like a small, owner-run shop with a clean but still-limited review history; a couple of direct references would round out the picture before signing on.

We had WC Builders replace two doors and several windows. Communication was clear throughout the process, we collaborated on the stain color, and the turnaround time was excellent. Overall, a very positive experience.

5 stars for this wonderful company. From start to finish everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, reliable and honest. Quotes were spot on. The work was completed in the expected time frame. We could not have asked for a better experience. We will work with this company again for future projects.

WC Carpentry just did a full renovation of my home and I couldn't be happier with the way it came out. John and his team totally transformed the look of my home inside and out. He was also able to keep the project at the budget we agreed upon. Erika did a great job designing the kitchen and bathroom I would highly recommend them and will be using them on any other future projects.

Highly recommend W.C. Carpentry! John did a beautiful job installing a gas fireplace with floating shelves, windows and custom cabinets in our living room as well as a built in beverage area with custom cabinets in our dining room. John and Greg were great to work with, super nice, knowledgeable, reliable and professional. The only builder we will use for any future home projects!
