Pilgrim Pest Professionals

Pilgrim Pest Professionals is a Plymouth-based pest control and wildlife removal company that reviewers keep calling on for the same kind of job: getting a squirrel, skunk or other unwanted animal out of an attic, yard or set of solar panels. The company describes itself as family-owned, serving Plymouth, Quincy, Boston, Brockton and Hyannis, and open 24/7 across eastern Massachusetts. It says it has over a decade of experience, and its website's copyright line dates back to 2015. The written record here runs from 2022 to 2024, so nothing on file is current, but the pattern across those 18 reviews is consistent. In a 2022 review, a customer said Pilgrim's estimate came in 50 to 80 percent below other quotes, its inspection was more thorough, and it succeeded in removing a flying squirrel from the attic. Other 2022 reviews describe a squirrel gone from a yard within a day of the first visit and a job to trap and remove a skunk near a home, handled by a technician named Dan who returned as promised to check the trap. Several reviewers that year praised how quickly the company turned a first call into a scheduled visit. A 2023 local publication named Pilgrim Pest Professionals its top pest control pick in the area, and a 2024 article about a father who joined his son's pest control business named Pilgrim Pest Professionals as that business. One thing worth asking about directly: the company's Angi profile states 6 years of experience, while its own website claims over a decade, with a copyright date running back to 2015 — worth clarifying which reflects the current ownership or operation. Pilgrim Pest Professionals is a solid call for wildlife removal — squirrels, skunks, raccoons and similar nuisance animals — as well as standard pest issues like ants, rodents and termites; given how much of its written record predates 2025, it's worth asking about current turnaround times and crew before booking.
