Pimentel Construction Co Inc

Pimentel Construction Co., Inc. is a Wilmington-based commercial general contractor — project and construction management, design/build and renovations for commercial, institutional and non-profit clients, with featured projects spanning a university, a golf club, retail and wax-studio build-outs, a veterinary clinic, and clean rooms and labs for a medical-device maker. Tony Pimentel owns and runs the company as CEO and President — before Pimentel, he was VP of Operations at Sasso Construction Company — and his son Matt Pimentel serves as VP of Construction, with Joshua Pimentel as a construction supervisor. In a 2024 review, a salon-and-spa client described a full 4,000-square-foot gut renovation, crediting Jill for guiding the architectural design and getting materials and equipment ordered ahead of time to avoid delays, and Robert for coordinating the construction crew, plumbers and electricians so the job went smoothly. BuildZoom's permit records back up the commercial focus, showing 64 projects — largely tenant fit-ups and renovations in Waltham, Beverly, Danvers, Topsfield and elsewhere in eastern Massachusetts. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#197504) and its construction supervisor license are both active, verified against the state registry, and it holds a current Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office certification as a Portuguese Business Enterprise. BBB gives it an A+ grade (it isn't accredited) with no complaints or government actions on file. This is a fit for an institutional, retail or commercial client looking for a design/build general contractor with a record of coordinating multi-trade buildouts — the written customer record so far is one strongly positive review, so ask for references on a project similar in scope to yours.
