Two of the four people who wrote about Platinum in June 2023 found the company the same way — through a neighbour. One had watched them work on the house next door, asked for a driveway quote expecting it to be really expensive, and was surprised enough by the estimate to hire them; another called after a neighbour who had used them passed the name along. Platinum Roofing & Masonry works out of Willard Street in Quincy. Its Angi and HomeAdvisor listings put the work in hardscape and water: foundation, basement and crawlspace waterproofing and encapsulation, brick and stone flatwork repair, concrete flatwork repair and resurfacing, paving, deck and porch repair, and powerwashing. The basement jobs are the ones written up in detail, and all four accounts were posted in June 2023. One customer had basement walls cracking and falling apart from water damage, with water soaking up toward the basement ceiling. Another had leaks after heavy rain and wrote that the crew was quick to spot the issues and get them resolved at a fair price. A third hired them for masonry repair at the front entrances of the house and got an estimate inside 24 hours, a reasonable price, an on-time arrival, and all the quoted work done on schedule. The newest review is a single star on Google, posted in April 2026, and it is about reaching them: the phone number is wrong, and the reviewer says the website has not been corrected. Sort that out before you count on getting hold of them. Get the quote in writing, and confirm a working phone number before the job starts.
