Plumber Ryan Consulting

Plumber Ryan Consulting is a one-name-you-can-trust operation — the reviews all point to the same person, Ryan, handling everything from a dripping faucet to a full water heater swap around Boston's South End and nearby suburbs. Google shows 5.0 stars from 109 ratings, and the written record backs it up: 94 reviews since 2023, with 13 in just the last six months and none negative. What comes up again and again is how Ryan handles the moment before he even shows up — texting back photos and video diagnoses, walking customers through what's wrong before arriving, and often showing up early: one reviewer had a failed water heater replaced by 7:30am with a new energy-efficient unit installed in under an hour, another had a gas-line leak fixed with Ryan arriving as early as 6am to keep the city and gas-company paperwork moving. Several reviewers describe using him for close to a decade — for a rental property, a company's ongoing needs, or just a house they've owned for years — the kind of repeat business that only comes from consistently showing up and doing the job right. There is one clear exception to the pattern: in an October 2023 review, a customer described Ryan looking at a job, saying he needed to get tools and would be back, and then never returning or calling — leaving the problem unresolved. It's the only complaint in an otherwise long, clean run, and nothing like it shows up again in the reviews that follow. For a straightforward repair, a water heater or gas line job, or an ongoing relationship with one plumber who explains what he's doing, this is a well-reviewed, communicative choice in greater Boston — the 2023 no-show is worth keeping in mind, but it stands alone against years of the opposite.
