Pontes Painting, Inc.

Pontes Painting, run by Rafael out of Woburn, keeps showing up in reviews for handling the parts of a paint job that go wrong on an older house — rotted siding, rotted window trim — before the paint ever goes on. The company says it's been in business 16 years, working Woburn, Winchester, Stoneham, and Burlington. Google shows 72 ratings at 4.9, with Angi and HomeAdvisor both at a perfect 5.0 from 89 ratings each. The reviews describe substantial jobs: a five-color Victorian repainted with every detail handled, rotted siding replaced and repainted on one visit and rotted window trim fixed on a separate one, and a full enclosed-porch renovation that included new screens, a waterproof vinyl floor, and ceiling work alongside the painting. One customer has hired Rafael's crew on three separate occasions for different rooms. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and the Better Business Bureau grades the company A+. There's no negative account anywhere in the written record — the lowest rating quoted is 4.5 stars, still a satisfied customer citing a hard-working, tidy crew. Recent written activity is light, just two reviews in the last six months, but the volume and specificity across the last four years are consistent. For an interior or exterior repaint — especially one that also needs carpentry or rot repair — the consistency of this record makes Pontes Painting a strong call in the Woburn area.
