Porcaro Plumbing and Heating

Porcaro Plumbing and Heating is a Melrose-based plumber run by Chris, with a small but consistently positive online record — four detailed reviews from 2023 and 2024, each describing a different job and none of them negative. The clearest theme is finding and fixing problems that aren't straightforward. In a 2023 review, a homeowner described Chris and his partner diagnosing a kitchen sink drain leak that turned out to be inside a wall, repairing it, then running a follow-up test to confirm nothing else was leaking, while keeping the customer informed throughout. A 2024 review describes an overnight emergency — a failed water heater that flooded a basement — where Chris removed and replaced the unit by 2pm the same day he was called. Another 2024 review describes a full bathroom installation, praised for precision and workmanship. One customer, in a 2023 review, said they'd used Chris twice and found the pricing reasonable both times. There isn't much of a public track record beyond these four accounts, so there's little basis yet for judging consistency at scale — but what's documented points to careful, responsive work, worth confirming directly with a call before booking.
