Powell Heating Services came out quickly (same day), performed a temporary repair to start our furnace up again, and ordered a part. A little over a day later the part was installed. Price seemed fair. It doesn't really get better than that.

Highly recommend. I'm very impressed and pleased. I initially contacted Tom for a quote on a new furnace; when he came to do that, he looked at the furnace and said he could fix it instead (saving me at least 1/2 the cost of replacing it). He ordered the part that Friday and returned the following Tuesday to swap it out. He showed me the damaged part and explained how it had become damaged. He was quick, thorough, and cleaned up the work area completely afterward. Also hauled away the damaged part. I told Tom he's earned himself a new customer for any service or maintenance we might need going forward.

I highly recommend Powell Heating Services. I had a great experience with my routine deep clean of my oil burner furnace. Tom was courteous, professional, prompt and the price was reasonable for the job.

Tom's customer service and knowledge is unmatched and unwavering. From the time he opened his doors to present he has provided exceptional and dependable service to our "emergency" needs with our now 24 yo furnace. With this last occurrence, we were back up and running within an hour. Additionally, he generously shares the details on his fix and daily maintenance tips. In a world where great customer service and superior expert level of knowledge seem to be traits of the past, in comes Tom, to remind you it's still out there. We cannot express the amount of gratitude we have knowing that he's just a phone call away especially in the dead of these frigid cold Maine winters. Thank you, Tom.
