Preferred Cleaning works out of 82 Fordham Road in East Falmouth, in the Hatchville corner of the town, and says on its own site that it serves clients throughout Massachusetts and is fully insured and bonded. The range is wider than the name suggests. Alongside ordinary house and residential cleaning it lists office buildings, restaurants, estate cleaning, post-construction cleanups and — a properly Cape line of work — boat cleaning. It is part of a small partnership that the Better Business Bureau records as trading since January 2002, with two employees, under the name Auntie Vi's / Preferred Cleaning and the alternate names Auntie Vi's and Preferred Linen. The other side of that partnership rents vacation equipment to Cape and South Shore visitors — cots, cribs, high chairs, beach gear and weekly linen service — which is worth knowing if you call and reach the rental line. The Better Business Bureau has accredited the business since August 2016 and grades it A+. That accreditation is the firmest thing on the public record about it, so the sensible next step is to ask directly for local references, confirm whether your job is a one-off or a recurring clean, and get the scope and rate in writing before the first visit.
