Highlights
- Quick response — recent reviewers cite fast turnaround and fair quotes
- Professional crew — praised as friendly, professional, and punctual
- Not fencing-focused — stated services list masonry and landscaping, not fence installation
- Small recent sample — only two detailed reviews in the past six months
Prime Gardens & Masonry works the North Shore and Northwest Massachusetts, and despite showing up here on a fencing search, what the company's own site and its reviewers describe is a landscaping-and-masonry outfit: patios, walkways, stone walls, driveways, and firepits, plus lawn care, demolition, gutter cleaning, and seasonal snow removal. On Google it holds a 5-star average across 21 ratings, and the two most recent reviews with real detail back that up. One customer called the crew fair-quoted, responsive, and easy to work with on a backyard project; another praised Joe's team for a quick turnaround clearing leaves and pruning bushes, calling him friendly, professional, and punctual. That's a small sample to lean on for specifics — just two reviews with real detail in the last six months — but it sits on top of a longer run of positive marks stretching back to 2024 across a handful of sources. Worth asking about before booking: if fence work is specifically what you need, it isn't what this company's own listing points to — nothing in their stated services mentions fencing, so confirm directly whether it's something they still take on. For patio, stone wall, or yard-cleanup jobs in their North Shore/Northwest MA service area, the early record points to a responsive, well-reviewed crew, though the volume of firsthand detail is still thin enough that it's worth confirming scope and pricing directly before hiring.

Prime Gardens and Masonry replaced our old patio with pavers and cobblestone, and our old fence with new vinyl and a heavy-duty gate -- completely transforming the space. Joe and his crew went out of their way in unpredictable weather conditions to stay on schedule. Knowledgable, competent, and hardworking crew, displayed great teamwork and problem-solving skills. We especially appreciated the level of clear communication throughout the project and Joe's willingness to return quickly, post-project, to make some needed adjustments. Highly recommended.

Prime Garden & Masonry are top notch! After considering numerous contractors, I hired Joe and his crew because they were able to do both my foundation work as well as installing my patio (which included them installing needed basement windows wells) and they provided a competitive quote. The projects moved along as planned with everything being completed efficiently, professionally and just as I’d requested. Working with Joe & his amazing crew was stress free. Their professionalism, attention to detail and outstanding workmanship is second to none. I love my new patio, and thanks to Joe getting it done so quickly, I now have it in time for summer gatherings & relaxing in my backyard. 😊 Prime offers many professional services so call them for your projects & landscaping needs…you’ll be glad you did ! Thank you to Joe & his amazing crew! 😁
